Ferrari Debuts New Hypercar for FIA World Endurance Championship

Ferrari Returns to Le Mans with 499P Prototype

Ferrari has unveiled its latest sports prototype, the Ferrari 499P, which will compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship's Le Mans Hypercar category starting this season.

A Hypercar with a Rich Heritage

The 499P's name echoes Ferrari's illustrious racing history at Le Mans. The "499" refers to the displacement of the car's 3.0-liter V6 turbocharged engine, while the "P" signifies the Hypercar class it competes in.

A Technological Marvel

The 499P is a technological marvel, featuring a carbon fiber chassis, a rear-mounted transmission, and a front-mounted V6 engine that develops a maximum output of 680 horsepower.

Ready to Race

Ferrari has a rich history of success in endurance racing, and the 499P is poised to continue that legacy. The car will make its race debut at the 1000 Miles of Sebring in March, and will aim to compete for overall victory at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans in June.
